Non-consensual and Consensual Non-monogamy in Norway

The paper sets out to study Norwegians’ experiences of non-monogamy. Data were collected by questionnaires in a web sample 4160 Norwegians (18–89 years). 26.3% men and 17.8% women reported that they ever had non-consensual Consensual non-monogamy was 3%. Compared participants with no or experience, consensual highly related relationship intimacy positive sexual attitudes toward sex sexuality. At the most recent extradyadic event, 21.5% heterosexual 47.1% gay/bisexual condom use, which implies risk for sexually transmitted diseases.
